Application Process

The Division of Otolarynology will use the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to process and review candidates' eligibility. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, traditional requirements and deadlines have been modified. A letter from your Dean, up to three (3) letters of recommendation (not all have to be from an otolaryngologist), an official transcript, a personal statement, a curriculum vitae, USMLE Step 1 scores, and a photograph should be submitted to ERAS.  Documents may be updated via ERAS.

We are approved for a total of 8 otolaryngology residents and we accept trainees on an alternating schedule. For the 2024-2025 interview season, we will be matching TWO (2) PGY-1 spots (PGY-1 start date of July 1, 2025). For the 2025-2026 interview season, we will be matching ONE (1) PGY-1 spot (PGY-1 start date of July 1, 2026).

We do NOT require a program specific paragraph in your personal statement.
